Hey Ginger...
Thanks for the links, my friend! Just wanted to say "Happy Mothers Day" to ya. I hope you have a good one...
Hi Jim. Thank you for the mother's day wishes. I have had a nice day, but no kids around right now. Instead, spent the afternoon driving around with the convertible top down and stopping at the local Dairy Queen for an ice cream break. A nice quiet day.
Ginger I've been reading through your blog and I am inspired by your decision to jump right in and pursue your dream. Good for you. I have such wonderful dreams of moving away from my city locale and getting off the grid with a rural homestead. Working toward that goal is slower going than I had hoped but I am happier just knowing each step brings me closer to fulfilling those dreams.
Hi Little Ant. I think it's very admirable to work with what you have. I almost got so caught up in the future move to the remote property, which won't happen for a good while, that I forgot to appreciate all I can do now to get ready... like learning new skills such as canning and dredging up long-forgotten ones, like gardening. Fortunately, I've seen the light and can appreciate the opportunity I have in the meantime. Thanks for stopping by.
I think I saw you at HermitJims, and want to say that the picture at the top made me gasp.
I miss the sound of solitude. Every day I have to listen to the lives of others and I hate it. That said, we'll be here til he retires and even then, out in the middle of nothing will never happen. :(
I look forward to following your journey. Peace to you.
Hi Meadowlark. Thank you for your comment. It is truly in the middle of nowhere and that photo is not enhanced. Sometimes at sunrise or sunset, the mountains turn pink to bright red. I took a quick look at your profile, and I ADORE it! I'll be checking out your blog very soon. People (men, too) sometimes change their minds. A remote homesite may very well be in your future. I hope you come back.
Great vid. Inspirational.
Mo, I thought so, too and glad you agree. Thank you for watching.
what a great blog...looking forward to checking in and seeing how your journey is going.
Rebecca, Thanks! I'll be checking out your blog, too. I appreciate your comment and look forward to reading about your food ideas.
